Compass Marketing & Consulting is a Division of Proctor. The organization of Compass began in late 2005 and the operations commenced in early 2006. The Proctor’s recognized that their dealership advertising expenditures were of such magnitude that they could launch an agency with more “captive” business than many established agencies carry in their entire portfolio. The Proctor’s also had growing frustration with agency relationships regarding lack of creative direction and felt like in many cases they were paying the agency for ideas they were in fact providing.
